The 2021 monthly ‘PlatForum’ sessions at Dagun Station run from 3.30 to 5 pm  on the 3rd Saturday (different to 2020) afternoon of each month – open air on the platform of Dagun Railway Station.  This overlaps with the co-ops weekly fresh produce stall and the Dagun Community Group’s Saturday afternoon wine bar.

In August, we will share people’s experiences with fruits and vegetables that are not the ‘usual’ items available in local markets, but are suited to growing here. We will particularly look at crops that could be a success in local markets with a bit of thought about appropriate growing techniques and  marketing.  In addition to whatever good ideas people bring along, we will also be able to pick the brains of John Brady (many decades of of tropical fruit nursery and marketing experience) and Elaine Bradley (co-op operations manager with many years of experience in handling the huge variety of products grown by members) .

Please print an A4 flier for our PlatForum and put it somewhere where you think it may be of interest to others  August21PlatForum
