The monthly ‘PlatForum’ discussion group at Dagun Station is going well, albeit within the distancing and other  required Covid-safe practices. The PlatForum starts 3.30 pm  on the 4th Saturday afternoon of each month and ends by 5pm – open air on the platform of Dagun Railway Station .  This coincides with the co-ops weekly fresh produce stall and the Dagun Community Group’s Saturday afternoon wine bar (the ChooChoo Bar).

Many thanks to the people who brought along examples of the latest IPM practices that they are using in their gardens and orchards and for sharing their expertise.  Each month, the participants choose the topic for the next forum, and for September we decided to share some of the considerable grafting expertise that exists among local growers and nursery practitioners, while the season was right for it.   Bring along your grafting questions and any special tips, tools or techniques that you are willing to share, we will have people at all levels from absolute beginners to people who have executed tens of thousands of successful commercial grafts, quickly and efficiently.

Please print an A4 flier for our PlatForum and put it somewhere where you think it may be of interest to others : September2020PlatForum
