Mary Valley Orchards, Amamoor
Heinz and Angela Gugger have a large orchard of persimmons and nectarines, with a smaller planting of mangoes. They use biological principals for sustainable, healthier and tastier fruit. On our Farm Walk, Heinz will describe their orchard management processes and outline the systems in place to ensure that trees remain healthy and in peak production.
Parking is on-farm. As usual, please bring along nibblies to share after the walk. Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Hats and enclosed shoes essential. As usual we will pass the donation tin around to thank the presenters for giving up their time to share their knowledge with us
